About Lead Like a Rosie

Lead Like a Rosie was created from a shared belief that leadership isn't about position—it's about purpose.

Founders Meg Simon and Krista Crates-Miller have spent decades serving students, educators, and communities. Together they recognized that many leaders struggle not because they lack talent, but because they become trapped by doubt, comparison, fear, and external pressures.

Inspired by the resilience and determination of the original Rosie the Riveters, they developed a leadership framework that encourages people to embrace courage while remaining authentic to who they are.

Today, Lead Like a Rosie helps organizations and educational leaders discover their purpose and create lasting impact.

Four women gathered around a table outdoors for a celebration. There is a sign that says "Join Us!" behind them. One woman is elderly in a red polka dot shirt and red cardigan, sitting in a wheelchair. The other three women, younger, are standing around her, one with glasses and striped shirt, another with checked blazer, and the third partially visible. The table has snacks and drinks, and the setting is a backyard with trees, houses, and string lights.
